When making purchases online i always google coupons for the website i’m purchasing from. Most times you can find some kind of coupon, whether it’s % off or free shipping, but hey every little bit helps!
I like to check my fav websites for email coupons. For example at Bed Bath & Beyond if you subscrib to their emails they will send you a 20% off coupon.
I try to buy my kiddos clothes off season. Like I bought all their winter clothes in the summer and I just got their summer clothes this winter. I get adorable clothes at super awesome rates!!!
When shopping online, I make sure to check several websites for the cheapest price and at the same time try to club buying items together so I can qualify for the free shipping. It saves quite a few dollars after a few purchases.
I search for and view my favorite stores sale flyers a week or so ahead of time. Then I can plan my trip by comparing prices, any catalina deals, printing and/or purchasing any coupons that I may need from coupon clipping sites or ebay etc.

By doing this, I am able to save hundreds of dollars each month.

Just kidding… but… I make out my lists at the beginning of the week based around the next weeks meals. I spend the week hunting for online coupons, e coupons, and Sunday inserts. Match up all my deals and then stick to my list! If planned right, I can eliminate those mid week store runs that are the most costly. When I am out and see something I’d like to get, I scan the barcode with the scanner app on my phone to see what the average cost online is and what the reviews are. It might be a deal in the store but not if the reviews are bad. Not only saves money but saves on trips back to the stores to return items 
I share my “finds” like this one with Friends! Then I make sure to check with their FB pages or emails to see if they have any good ones. We are in a LARGE Moms group & always spreading the word – sharing coupons, etc. I have saved so much money having lots of extra “eyes” helping me out!
